What is fileNXT?
fileNXT is a secure file request platform that allows you to create structured upload pages and collect files from clients, customers, or collaborators through a shareable link.
Do uploaders need an account?
No. Uploaders can submit files through your request link without creating an account. Only request owners need an account to create and manage requests.
How does fileNXT work?
Create a file request, share the link, receive uploads securely, and manage everything from your workspace.
File Requests
Can I set an expiry date?
Yes. Free plans allow expiry up to 3 days. Pro plans and Boost requests allow expiry up to 30 days.
What are the upload size limits?
Free: up to 250MB per request. Pro: up to 5GB per request. Boost: up to 5GB for that specific request.
Can I remove fileNXT branding?
Yes. Branding can be removed on Pro plans and Boost requests.
Can uploaders see other submissions?
No. Uploaders can only submit files. They cannot see other submissions or access your workspace.
Plans & Billing
What is included in the Free plan?
Up to 3 active requests, 3-day expiry, 250MB per request, and fileNXT branding.
What does the Pro plan include?
Unlimited active requests, 30-day expiry, up to 5GB per request, branding removal, and reminder functionality.
What is Boost?
Boost is a one-time upgrade applied to a single request, giving it Pro-level capabilities without upgrading your entire account.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. You can cancel anytime. Your account will revert to Free limits at the end of your billing period.
Security & Privacy
Are uploads secure?
Yes. All transfers are encrypted using HTTPS and stored using secure infrastructure with controlled access.
Does fileNXT access my files?
No. fileNXT does not access file content unless required for legal compliance or security investigations.
Is fileNXT GDPR aligned?
fileNXT is designed to align with UK GDPR principles, including lawful processing and data minimisation.
